5 Steps to Effectively Leading Your Company

Zach Cohen of The Junkluggers of Manhattan and Brooklyn sat down with Forbes to give some advice about being an effective leader. Here’s a taste:

Leadership is about turning a vision into reality.
The key word here is vision. Make the vision so clear that you could pick any member on the team and they could paint the picture for you. Being a leader with a vision means your employees can look in your eyes and know that everything will be okay. If the only goal of your so-called great company is money, just give up now, because you’ll never make it. Instead, start back at square one, the purpose. After you figure out something worthy and strong enough that other people can also believe in, the profit will eventually follow.
