VP of Operations
Katin Keirstead is a seasoned operations executive with a proven track record of driving franchise success through strategic planning, innovative solutions, and a deep commitment to excellence. As Vice President of Franchise Operations with the Junkluggers, Katin will leverage over a decade of experience in franchise management, training, and operational efficiency to lead and inspire teams across a vast network of locations.
In her 10 years at Planet Fitness, Katin played a pivotal role in enhancing franchisee performance by integrating data-driven insights with hands-on leadership, overseeing the operations of over 2,200 locations. Her ability to foster strong relationships with franchisees and cross-functional teams has been key to implementing successful pilot programs, launching system-wide initiatives, and continuously evolving the brand to meet the ever-changing needs of customers. She launched Planet Fitness University and built it into an award-winning training and development platform with 100% franchisee participation and over 4 million course completions.
In her free time, Katin enjoys volunteering as a mentor with Tomorrow’s Women Today, a Boston-based leadership development network. She and her husband Don love spending time outdoors in a variety of settings and visit the beaches, lakes and mountains as much as they possibly can!
