"This is the second time we’ve used the umbrella company of Junkluggers, after a prior positive experience in NJ. We selected them again in NC after comparing their pricing here with two other quotes. The estimates from all three were nearly identical (Junkluggers coming in at about $10 less), and each company was equally polite and helpful On the phone, but we went with the company we know and had a great experience with in the past. Happily, second time was just as positive. The communication was excellent, from initial two conversations with phone reps’ detailed questions (we called back after comparing quotes) and clear explanations of pricing, through calls the day before and morning of to confirm the booking & time of arrival — much appreciated as we were coming from a distance. They came smack in the middle of the two-hour window we’d agreed to, which was helpful. The number of movers and trucks sent was well-planned, ensuring quick and efficient removal. And each of the four movers were equally professional, figuring out tricky door clearances and taking other challenges in stride. They worked well together and even joked among themselves, despite the hard work, which seems to indicate a decent work environment even though it’s clear those work days must be filled with surprises and tough situations. Junkluggers came out in person to assess the items and sent me a detailed estimate by email shortly after. Their pricing was reasonable and transparent, which I really appreciated. The other company, on the other hand, scheduled a visit but never showed up. Later, they asked me to send photos instead, and even after I did, I never heard back from them. I liked how smooth and professional the whole process was with Junkluggers, so I decided to go with them. I called Olson, the representative, and asked if same-day removal was possible. In just three hours, a truck arrived and the job was completed quickly and efficiently. The two crew members who came were incredibly friendly and respectful.
